The first step of cooperating with me is defining the project’s scope. 

Every project is different. Someone can want to transit from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4, another client wants to improve purchases by optimising product pages, and the last wants someone to help with dashboards and reports. 

Taking all this into account, I created the following solution that includes 3 steps:

  1. 30-min meeting
  2. Providing access to the tools and auditing the current business situation
  3. Q&A session and sending the offer

1. 30-min meeting

Thus, every client has unique needs, and to address them better, we meet for 30 minutes to discuss the following points:

  1. What are your expectations from working with me? (CRO audit, Dashboard, Analytics Implementation, Optimisation work, etc.)
  2. What kind of company do you have, and what’s the primary audience?
  3. What are the main priorities for you right now? 

Discussing these questions will help us calibrate our expectations. Thus, I will be able to address the most critical cases for you, and you will leave me with a good review afterwards.

2. Providing access to the tools and auditing the current business situation

Usually, after having a 30-min meeting and when we understand that we can cooperate. A client provides access to the marketing tools. Such tools include 

  • Google Analytics
  • Mixpanel
  • Google Ads
  • Hotjar
  • Tableau
  • and others. 

When I have access to the tools, I can understand what performance your business has, and I can look at what acquisition channels you use. All of that helps me to understand not only the company but also the primary target audience. I also like to look at competitors and what they do to compete with you.

3. Q&A session and sending the offer

After looking at the data in the tools, I prepare the final list of questions for you to prove my assumptions and eliminate false theories. There is nobody who knows your business better than you. Therefore I usually spend 30-60 mins with you to discuss the points. You are also free to explain to me much more about your business to make our cooperation even more fruitful. 

Another critical point that I discuss with clients is potential milestones. Clients like to pay for milestones gradually if the project includes a few steps that can be delivered at different times.

I will send you the official offer when everything is transparent regarding the project and our responsibilities. Usually, these three steps require up to 3 business days. 

Once we sign a contract, we move to the next step -> Analytics Health-Check.
